Tablet option

I currently have a Samsung S24+ and have an old iPad that I inherited.
I’m planning to purchase an Android tablet to replace the iPad and am considering the Samsung A9+ or S10FE however I’ve been drawn to the Oneplus Pad range (Go, 2 or 3) which get very favourable reviews and are better spec than the Samsung equivalent.
I appreciate that this is a Samsung forum but what benefits are there in having my phone and tablet both the same brand?
Usage of tablet will be very general web browsing etc and not used for gaming or any kind of graphic design, photo editing etc.

I have an S9FE tablet and my s25 ultra. The best features are with the seamless sharing of files, written notes, and quick share between them.

Samsung health is shared across both.

Buds 3 pro will switch audio stream between them without the need to connect or reconnect. So if you are listening to a video on tablet and someone rings the phone it switches automatically.

Both devices synced with photos and media.

Login details can be shared by synching from phone to tablet, including all passwords and browsing history.

Everything is very seamless. I would however go for the s10fe with s pen if I were in your position. It has a better spec and more memory as well. The A9+ is the bottom end tablet.

Exactly what of these you can synchronise with Oneplus tablet i am unsure. Of course it is still android so you could synchronise google photos and other files. I would expect things would not be quite as integrated between a samsung phone and a oneplus tablet.

In my view, having both devices from the same stable produce a more stable and easy transition between the two. They just work.

I got S25 and tab s10 ultra stuff like copy on phone paste on tablet is helpful and text sharing so you can call and text on tablet is good
