Update to UI7 and loss of wifi calling

I have a samsung s21 on UI 6.1 on which wifi calling is working and a9 teblet on Ui 7 updated today on which it is not working . Anyone else on UI 7 who has also lost wifi calling. The feature has been activated on the phone icon is it a known issue

You could try reset network settings. Or you may need to contact your network provider. Might just need them to do something their end after the update.

Your tablet has 5G / lte and a sim card?

Typically when the WiFi calling menu disappears it is due to the carrier / network settings.

Usually to contact the network provider can resolve this.

The funny thing is it was working up to ui7. Now showing if i drag down the toptask bar but disappears

Ring your network provider and tell them they should be able to put it back on again, I know this because i always have to ring Vodafone about it

Badgering sky forums and community managers at the moment . Won't get a response until tomorrow . The issue is not that i use the tablet for calls its that if and when the S21 updates to UI7 and takes down wifi calling being in a area of bad mobile reception all my mobile calls usually end up wifi calls (in a flat with tall building in line with the transmitter thingy

Badgering people on a forum won't help you, calling your network provider will

Likelihood is that you wifi calling has to be re-activated, this is not a new problem, it been happening since first smartphone, it can just disappear when doing no upgrade

Normally i would agree but the Community managers are good especially if it relates to issues that good impact other customers

OK now samsung s21 has updated to one ui 7 and wifi calling borked as well

Ok Volte isn't showing in the home screen either when i leave my flat but instead shows when i drag down the status bar. Conclusion they have fricking hidden the wifi calling and volte from plain sight

Surely Samsung (or any other Manufacturer) should understand the impact of their "upgrade" and ensure ESSENTIAL features like WiFi calling (in fact, any feature) are not disabled by THEIR update. My carrier assures me I should have WiFi calling still but the latest Samsung update has caused it to drop from setting entirely.

Is not a carrier problem. Others carriers have de same problem I try it. Is a samsung update problem

I have an S23 and lost wifi connection ability after the 9/2025 update. I have turned everything off and on, reset and restarted to no avail. I am very disappointed and frustrated because nothing is correcting the problem. Any new solutions aside from these basics which are not working?
