Hello,

Is there a setting somewhere (which I'm missing) for both my tablet and phone sync fully.

What I mean is...I use my phone most of the day, reading and deleting emails, pop up notifications from various apps such as Ring etc.

My Google photos are all syncing properly.

But when I finally get round to using my tablet, I just have loads of various icons along the task bar on the tablet of all the stuff I have dealt with already on my phone.

Any advice please ?

Google photos will not sync as these notifications are localised to the device in use. The other apps you mention may also have the same functionality.

Currently have a similar scenario with several phones.

My S25 Ultra is my go to.....

I am Product Testing an A56 5g and Flip 6 and both exhibit exactly the same scenario.

I assume it is Android by Design to be honest.

I use Google Photos on both devices and they sync, I have just checked, in case I'm going mad. If I delete a photo from my Pixel 8, it deletes the same photo on the Tab S7+ and vice versa.

My Google emails sync also.

It's apps like Ring, messages from Vinted, Whatsapp, notifications from Amazon etc that seem to stay un actioned on my Tab S7+.

It's been like this for years to be honest, but it's just bugging me and if I can't get it sorted, I may swap over to the Google Pixel Tablet to see if it does everything alongside my Pixel 8, but it's a bit of a gamble, because the Pixel Tablet could just be the same !!

Well according to Gemini, this behaviour is expected for Google Photos as each device contains their own set of localised photos.
