Home screen lag

After the new update on my tab s8 plus, when ever unlocking there seems to be lag when showing the home screen, it should be smooth everytime the device is unlocked. I hope, this is fixed in future updates.

Hi and Welcome.

If you just updated it's a common occurance for it to lag and while.

Make sure all apps are upto to date and restart the tab.

It should be fine within hours.

Mine is exactly the same, I put a post about this the other day , if you scroll you'll see it , I've even done a factory reset and it's still the same, it's really p****d me off tbh because it was fine before one UI 7 and mines been updated about 2 weeks now !!

Yeah its has been annoying, its was working fine before the update, hope it gets fixed

One think I hate is stutter , looks cheap and ruins it

Unfortunately mine is the same, I've actually factory reset mine and it still does it , if I remove screen lock method it is actually fine , very weird

If you have a screen lock method ( pin or pattern) etc remove it and see if it helps , also you can send feedback via members app feedback section , I've sent lots of feedback but heard nothing back off Samsung though

What has happened to palm swipe for screenshots on the tab s8? Now gone.

Thanks for your reply, only way I can stop it is if I don't have a screen lock method , personally I like to use a screen lock but this unlock stutter really annoys me
