Should not need to!!! You should give customers what they want. It's old technology, it's standard everywhere EXCEPT the (so-called) market leader samsung. Very, very, cheap of samsung.

Screen Mirroring on Samsung Tab A8 (2019)

This won't be a big issue for some owners, but if like me you enjoy nothing easier than flicking to a large TV screen for family and friends to view, you'll be disappointed with your Samsung Tab A8. You can download Samsung Smart View, but this is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. Screen Mirroring is quite an old technology, so I see no financial benefits on Samsung's behalf other than forcing you up a tablet price range. I've scoured the Internet and found no explanation of why Samsung made the decision. Guess I'll have to stick to swapping SD cards into my Sony mobile phone so I can screen mirror to my LG television.
Shame really, the Tab A8 is a really good cheap tablet otherwise.

Hey @PaoloPiaggio ,

I'm sad to hear that. You can also mirror the tablet's screen to a TV using a DeX cable or HDMI cable, and cast content from certain apps! Check out our full screen mirroring guide, found here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062585/ to see how.
