Samsung Galaxy Tablet wont turn on

I haven't used my galaxy tablet in 2 months. My sister wanted to check it out, I went and got it from my room to turn it on, obviously it was dead, so i went to go charge it, after a few hours it still hasn't turned on. Tried using different cables and ports, nothing. Someone please help.

Is there any indication it is charging?

Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously for about 10-20 seconds. Then Press the Restart button immediately when it appears. This will solve your problem.
