Hi there, tablets receive updates quarterly unlike phones that get them monthly, the tab A9 will get the one ui 6 update this month (march 2024).

Thanks hopefully, why is it Samsung have already pushed out updates to older A7 and A8 tabs

Me neither, no incentive to purchase a newer model when Samsung update older versions first. Thanks for your replies

I have the A9+ 5G version, and it's on Android 14 OneUI 6.0 with the December security patch

I only bought the tablet on the 22nd of February and the update was already available

I decided to go for the S series when purchasing a tablet, But thats just my preference. My device recieved one ui 6 last month (tab s8). If your ever upgrading your tablet i highly recommend the S series, if possible.

I opened mine today brand new. Was one ui 5. One ui 6 update downloaded immediately but you can't play games on this tablet so will be refunding
