Old tablet can’t log in to galaxy store

I’ve reset my old tablet to factory settings to give it to my aged mother. Big mistake. I can access Google play store but it won’t let me download anything - says no connection (it has!). Also can access galaxy store but it won’t let me log in (it takes me to an empty white page with ‘close’ at the bottom. I only want to put a few games on to stimulate her brain. Please help.

Depending on which tablet you have and how old it is. You may need to download all availble updates for it before accessing galaxy store or Google Play store.

I have exactly the same problem with the Galaxy Store. I have an old Galaxy Tab 3 (SM T-113) tablet which I have reset to factory settings. I can access the Galaxy Store but I can't log in to my Samsung account which means I can't update any Samsung apps on the tablet. After I have entered my email and password I also get an empty white page with ‘close’ at the bottom. Does anyone know a solution?

I have the same. Seems to be due to 2 step verification not working on the pop up. Totally unacceptable.

Only the Google Play Store works. And if you type in the search there, the app suddenly closes. Instead of typing in the search line, look to the end of that search bar. See the icon. Press on it. then speak clearly the app you want to install. The Google Play store will display the apps to what you spoke. Pick the one you want and install.

I too have a P5210. New out of the box in 2024. Found it in an old retail building ready to be demolished.

You can speed up the P5210 or P5220. It is an Intel Atom 4-core. Just go to settings and follow these instructions.
