Not all applications and features support Landscape mode (even the Home screen of your Galaxy A7 tablet defaults to Portrait unless Landscape mode is toggled on in the settings) so I just wanted to manage your expectations in that regard.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite SM-225

I like to use my tablet in landscape orientation. I’ve selected auto-rotate, then turned the tablet into the landscape position, then locked it there. The problem is it reverts to portrait within 15 minutes or so. It’s really annoying as I want to use all apps in the landscape position.

Any help would be great.

Thanks for reading

I have a similar problem. The tablet refuses to lock into Portrait mode when Autorotate is turned off. It doesn't matter what app I'm using. If I accidentally tilt the tablet too far, it switches to landscape mode and requires futzing around to get it back to portrait. What can I do about this? Do I need to do a factory reset?
