I would wait until you know more when it's been announced. Rumours are just rumours. I still use the tab s7+, I felt no need to upgrade to the tab 8 series. Just wasn't a big enough upgrade, well the ultra is huge, just too big for me. The only reason I'm thinking of upgrading this year, because software support. I think android 13 is the last major os update for the tab s7 series. I would wait and if the tab s9 has something over the tab s8 you want, then decide.

Will be interesting I've been on the TabS bandwagon since the S4 I think, the S8 Ultra is now my sons but it is a beastly tablet, it ticked every single box for me, so the S9 Ultra if that's a thing will be interesting.

Being a fold and flip user I am keenly watching if we will see foldable tablets.

My wife still uses my old S7+ with the keyboard case, stand, still a cracking and much more portable tablet.

But agree it needs to offer something compelling.

Yeah the s8 ultra ticks every box for me. Do like the sound of an oled screen though.
I've heard about a foldable tablet maybe the galaxy fold Z Have to wait and see.
I had the fold 4 but changed back to the s23 ultra. Loved the phone but felt like I didn't have much use for my tablet. And wasn't too keen on the camera.
Will you be upgrading to the fold 5?

I agree that it is best to wait till the specifications are actually confirmed, whilst some speculation proves accurate not always the case. hey i bought the tab s8 ultra last month as i had gotten a bonus and didnt know if the s9 was coming this year, my expierence with the tablet so far has been great i had / have my old IPAD pro 2020 model which 1 week after buying my tab s8 ultra i dropped and cracked the screen so for now i just have my s8 ultra. I also have my samsung Z Fold 3 (which if i ever upgrade will never be a fold phone again had so many issues with this phone to point every 3rd or 4th software update ive had to send the phone into the samsung as it wont upgrade and my last issue i got a blue screen of death when it tried to update. but anyway to my question i know samsung do trade ins? do you know if they accept apple tablets with cracked screens? if so if i paid for the top spec in my s8 tab ultra with even the keyboard case (keyboard case feels nic to hold looks expensive but i do prefer the magic keyboard on my ipad pro (because i like to use my tablet in bed to watch media and the magic keyboard had a stable platform that made it easier to watch) but i havnet bought an SD card and i mostly use my tab s8 ultra for consuming media. i planned to use my apple device for purchasing but thats kind of unsuable now so considering using my tab s8 ultra for all of this stuff. Is it worth knowing what has been leaked so far and the fact you can now reserve the tab s9 ultra and get 50 quid off it. Or am i better keeping my Tab S8 Ultra with 16gb of ram so on (top spec) and do you think id get anywhere close to the 1400 to 1600 (cant remember price) i just spent on it considering its a month old?

Sorry I've only just seen this! It won't be worth using the trade In for the ipad they will you offer such a low amount. I'd keep the s8 ultra you will lose alot of money I've got the s8 ultra 256gig and was thinking about trading it in but the trade in price is shocking unless you privately sell it on ebay?
