Copy/paste not working on Galaxy a6

I recently bought a Galaxy Tab a6. The copy/paste function isn't working. On some websites, when I tap on a text only "select all "appears, and the clipboard doesn't show either. For example, if I copy the title of a book, go to Amazon and try to paste the title in the search bar, only "select all " appears, there's no paste option at all. Can this problem be fixed?

Unfortunately I cant test that as I do not use your particular model of phone @alexiley but sometimes a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on can help.
