S8+ gallery update

Hi,

The recent update on gallery has to be rolled back now. Adding a recent folder.

One its incredibly annoying.

Two- can't hide it at all.

Three- if you delete from recent it deletes from other folder.

Four- on coming into existence it had everything in secure folder in the recent folder that isn't in secure folder.

Allow users to get rid of it please.

Hi, Checknif you have this setting. It should be possible to hide the Recent folder. In Gallery settings enable Select albums to show.

Next come back to main Gallery screen > click on the 3 dots > Select albums to show > untick the folders that you wish to hide > click on Done.

Seems like the same setting as in the phones is not available in Tab S8+.

I have the flip 4 and it's just done the same to me. Plus it takes up storage space. It's the most useless folder. My partner has the same phone and he doesn't have the issue.

Flip 4 doesn't even show the recent album to hide. Plus it still takes up ur storage space. If you delete it deletes permanently
