My Tab S7 occasionally starts taking pictures continuously without any action by me. For example, last night I was woken by the shutter sound to find that the tablet had taken over a thousand pictures of the inside of its cover. I had to power down to prevent the possibility of a repeat.

Is this a known problem and is there a remedy?

@CadmasterUK1 Hi, it's not really a widespread bug.
Try resetting the Camera app settings from the settings itself. In Camera Settings/Shooting methods/Press the volume buttons to-choose Control system volume. This would prevent taking shots if you have a very tight case and the camera app open. Also clear the cache and data of the Camera.Access Settings/Applications and look for the Camera app.In Storage clear cache and data.Restart. and check their behavior.Greetings.
