Android Pie and USB file transfer!

Ever since I upgraded my A7 Galaxy tablet I can no longer connect it via USB to a PC. I understand this is a common problem, how can I fix it? I have tried everything including Developer mode, NOTHING works.

Try wiping the cache partition of the device and that should resolve the issue. Just search 'how to wipe cache partition (device name)' and you should find relevant tutorials 😁. Hope this helps! 🙂

@Mark_Swanson Hello, try to reset the settings of the USB port of your phone. To do this, go to Applications and click on the area marked in the screenshot. Activate "Show system applications" and accept. Find the USB settings app and in storage, delete the cache and data. Restart the device and check.

Thanks for the suggestion, I followed your advice and still nothing, no connection to the PC.

Success! I switched to a different USB cable and everything is now working just fine! Thank you.
