Cleaning cache after update

I have a Tab S7 Plus. I can't access the safe mode to do this. I close the tablet. I then boot pressing the power button and volume up together, but it just does a normal boot without accessing the safe mode. Any ideas please?

@Blind_Marv Hello, what you are trying to do is access in Recovery Mode. What is new since ONE UI 3.1 is that to access in Recovery mode, you have to have the USB cable connected to a PC, Laptop,turned on. A greeting.

Sorry for delay in replying. Thanks very much for the info. As I don't have a laptop or pc I connected the tablet to my A72 and it worked ! You pointed me in the right direction 👾👌
