Samsung Notes Lag when Erasing

I'm using the samsung tab s6. After the new update yesterday, everything was working fine, except when I zoom in past 120%, erasing my handwriting strokes suddenly lags *a lot*. Handwriting and all other functionality seem to take the normal time and not have a noticable delay.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

That’s exactly what’s happening to me too while using my tab S7… I hope they get to fix this soon, I was loving the experience with my new tab!!

Same here with Tab S6 Lite, it happens when zoom percentage is greater than 130% in my case

I had this same issue on my tab S7. If you go to settings, apps, Samsung notes, data & clear cache it will start working normally.

I tried clearing cache, sadly it doesn't work for my S6 lite.

Same, my conjecture is that the more handwriting there is, the slower it erases

So my earlier post was incorrect, soon as i closed out the Notes the issue came back. I just did a back up of all my notes and went to the play store to uninstall the updates. This fixed the lag issues. You won't have any of the cool new features but you won't also have any of the bugs such as erasing lag or unable to scroll separate pages freely like before.

Go to both your Google play store and Samsung store and turn off auto updates And then uninstall Samsung notes. When you open it you will have the base version with no updates, but all the glitches and bugs will be gone. I'm actually looking at getting an ipad today Because of notability

Getting an iPad just for a small (hopefully momentaneous) software bug sounds a little extreme haha.. But yeah, it's pretty annoying.

I still have to try an iPad Pro though, IDK which one is better.

I bought an ipad pro and notability is so much better especially with the shapes and drawing straight lines.
