Samsung Galaxy Book and seamless buds connection problem

The Samsung Galaxy Book series is unable to provide us seamless connection on Galaxy buds. The auto switch doesn't work. However, on my s24 ultra and Galaxy book 5 pro supported auto switch feature with my Sony xm5. But it is not working with the galaxy buds pro 4. Samsung developers needs to fix this issue ASAP. We are in 2026!!!! And I am speechless and disappointed to find out that just now!

@Ahsann: Do you have the same Samsung account registered to both the Book5 Pro and your S24 Ultra? If so, on your phone, head to Settings > Select your Buds below the Samsung account name > Manage connections > Auto switch Buds > On.

If Samsung doesn’t meaningfully improve Buds + Galaxy Book auto switch in firmware, the only truly seamless dual‑device experience will keep being multipoint headphones like your XM5s rather than Samsung’s own buds.Is the main pain point for you switching from Book → phone when a call comes in, or back to Book when you resume media after a call?

Once I turn on my laptop's Bluetooth, the buds get disconnected from my phone automatically and connect to the laptop.

That's intentional behaviour. In your Galaxy book, can you connect to your buds via your phone? In android it's possible to connect the buds this way without pairing them directly to the device.

I can connect by tapping but then it gets disconnected again. EMBARRASSING for brand like Samsung in 2026.

Guess the book series needs updating. The seamless switch works fine with my tablets and phones.

Well Samsung may eventually add multipoint in time, but unfortunately it's likely not a priority for enough people right now.
