Hi, I had all my events in the default calendar app dissapear yesterday suddenly, and would really appreciate help because I had all my doctor appointments and friends birthdays and health tracking etc. saved there.

I haven't changed any settings nor messed with my phone in any way and just opened it and there were only couple of my google callendar events left and the national holiday events google callendar puts there automatically if you have it synced. All my personal events were put in thru the phone and saved on what I assume was the samsung account or locally saved on my phone. Not on google callendar.

One weird thing to note as well is that the default colour tag when making a new event has changed and the previous colour tag isnt in my defaults anymore.

I've been trying to troubleshoot this for hours so this is what I have done so far and seen no change:

checked all my sync settings in the callendar app and in samsung settings and all were turned on

cleared calendar app cache

restarted my phone multiple times

wiped cache partition

checked samsung sync, samsung backup and samsung cloud and it was empty

checked the bin of the calendar app and the bin of my phone and neither had any files

checked the app in light mode settings

the last thing I've seen advised in other threads was reinstalling the app but since this is the app that comes with the phone, you cant uninstall it.

I'm just lost at this point and idk what more to do but I really dont want to loose all my data. How could this even happen by itself? I swear I did not mess with any settings or anything, I just opened the app one day and it was all gone.

Edit: my phone model is Galaxy S20 and UI is One UI 4.1
