Android Authority (web) suggest Samsung's Mobile Division is suffering from high input costs and may face a loss this year DESPITE RECORD S26 SERIES PRE ORDERS.

Does this indicate that future devices may see price increases?

I do wonder if its just greed, as in we need to always more than last time, which isn't always possible, but shareholders dont care.

I thought S26 sales had smashed sales, but with everything going on in the middle East and developments in China, North Korea, then South Korean and Taiwan may see issues ahead.

Not sure and more EV battery solid state stuff, but i recall a month ago Samsung was restructuring divisions in terms of battery shares, to generate cash to push into Solid state batteries for EVs.

All businesses play this game, usually easy target is fire people, to keep shareholders.

I heard prices will increase, it's because Samsung themselves won't sell to Samsung the ram/memory required as they're focusing on Memory production and supply to the AI market

Could be, I read a report this morning regarding the triple Z fold device saying that they won't make anymore, once they run out of stock they won't restock them.

It looks likely and in general the Smartphone market facing pressures with profit margins squeezed. The situation in the Middle East could also be a factor.

Nah its the every year they need to make more profit, but the pie is only one size and its a crowded market for the pie.

Been reported it being discontinued, once all stocks are sold in Korea.
