Unable to Download System Update on Galaxy A06

Hello @SamsungCommunity,

I’m facing a persistent issue with my Galaxy A06(#GalaxyA06).

I’ve been trying to download the latest system update for days now, but it just won’t download. I’ve tried multiple times using strong mobile data and stable Wi-Fi, yet the download always fails or restarts.

I’ve also checked:

* Storage space

* Network strength

* Battery percentage

* Update settings

…but the problem still persists.

Please, has anyone experienced this on the #A06 or #Samsung devices before? Any solutions or guidance from @SamsungSupport would be highly appreciated.

Did you try with smartswitch software

But first wipe phone cache partition
Power off the device.
• a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system

Hi @MM_04 Other than the advice already mentioned have you tried Resetting the Network connections, General Management-Reset. Can reset wifi/Bluetooth ,Mobile Settings or All Settings. If you go to Device care and optimise Now. Can also go to Memory-Clean now to clear the Background Apps.

Otherwise clear cache partition or try Smart Switch as suggested. Sometimes there can be server issues but should not last too long.

I am have been facing this same problem. Please let me know if you have found the solution to this problem such that I may be able to update my Galaxy A06 software
