Old Samsung played what music files, but new phone doesn't. Why???

Newer Samsung phones may not natively support WMA (Windows Media Audio) files, even if older models did. This is because Samsung, like other Android manufacturers, has shifted towards using the more common and open MP3 format. To play WMA files on a newer Samsung phone, you'll need to either use a third-party app like VLC or convert the files to a supported format like MP3.

Further to the above

Due to changes in codec support policy WMA/WMV codecs are no longer supported in new products from 2021 onwards.

Samsung Music natively supports these file types: mp3, m4a, mp4, 3gp, 3ga, ogg, oga, aac, and flac. some other Music players support a wider variety such as Poweramp and VLC.

How do y'all have support for Ogg file's still but not wma? it really doesn't make sense to me. Please evaluate.
