Subject: Bring Back the Old Status Bar Icons on One UI 7 (like 6.1)

Hello everyone,

I'm posting to express my frustration with a change in the One UI 7 update.

On previous versions of One UI, particularly 6.1, the Wi-Fi calling and Bluetooth icons were always visible in the status bar when the features were active. Since the update to One UI 7, these icons only appear when I swipe down the quick panel, which is a major step backward in terms of user experience.

The status bar is designed to show the phone's status at a glance, and hiding these crucial icons makes it difficult to quickly confirm if Wi-Fi calling is working without an extra action.

I would strongly urge Samsung to provide an option in the settings to restore the previous behavior. Being able to choose which icons are always visible would be a huge improvement and would give us back the functionality we had in One UI 6.1.

Has anyone found a workaround for this, maybe with a tool like Good Lock?

Just a little swipe down on right hand side and it displays 🤷‍♂️

Pull down the notifications panel > pencil icon> panel settings > Together

This is a major design flaw in One UI 7. The whole point of the status bar is to see your phone's status at a glance. I need to see if Wi-Fi calling is active on both the lock screen and the home screen without having to swipe down. It was perfect in 6.1. Please bring that functionality back. 6.1 was better than this

Tbh I dont think its that much of a big deal plus who even rly cares wether their phone is on WiFi calling tbh, so i kinda doubt Samsung'll change it. I get what u mean tho, but yeah, I doubt theyll revert it cos im on the One Ui 8 beta and it doesnt show

This update should have kept it like 6.1 but it didn't. I can't even believe it, you know, being a Samsung user you have to do something Samsung

People who rely on wifi calling care if their phone is on wifi calling. I can't make or receive calls in my home without it, it's important to know it's connected and working properly. Just because you don't care about a feature, doesn't mean it isn't important to other people.
