Hi,
If you're locked out of your Samsung phone after a software update, try restarting the phone first. If that doesn't work, you can use Samsung's Find My Mobile service to remotely unlock it, which requires your Samsung account credentials. Alternatively, you can perform a factory reset via recovery mode, but this will erase all your data.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Restart the Phone: A simple restart can sometimes resolve minor glitches that might be preventing the phone from recognizing your password or PIN.

2. Use Samsung's Find My Mobile:

Go to the Find My Mobile website (findmymobile.samsung.com) and sign in with your Samsung account.

If your device is registered, you'll be able to see it on the map and use the "Unlock" feature.

Follow the on-screen instructions to unlock your phone.

3. Factory Reset (Data Loss):

Enter Recovery Mode: Power off the phone. Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears.

Navigate with Volume Keys: Use the Volume keys to navigate the recovery menu and the Power key to select.

Select "Wipe data/factory reset": Confirm your choice by pressing the Power button.

Confirm Factory Data Reset: Select "Factory data reset" to begin the process.

Reboot System: Once the reset is complete, select "Reboot system now" to restart the phone.

Important Notes:

Data Loss:

Performing a factory reset will erase all data on your phone, including photos, contacts, and apps. Ensure you have a backup if possible.

PIN/Password Requirement:

After a restart, your phone might require a PIN, pattern, or password to unlock, even if you were previously using biometric authentication.

Google Account:

If you are unable to unlock your phone and have to perform a factory reset, you will need to sign in with your Google account after the reset.

Professional Help:

If you're still unable to unlock your phone, consider seeking professional help from a Samsung support center or authorized service provider.
