Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Forum

Whilst you can expect reasonable photos, you won't get flagship standard.

That's why there is such a vast price difference.

Hello everyone,
I don't know whether anyone else has had a problem but ever since I've had my A13 4g, the photo quality has been very poor? I have a baby that I often take photos of for memories and when I'm going to look back at those pictures, the quality will forever be very poor?! If anyone knows how to improve camera quality, it would be very appreciated!!

Thanks

The a13 is the cheapest model of samsung phone avaliable in the uk. (Ignoring newer models, also ignoring the a03 as that's not common in the uk)

You can't expect an amazing camera. Though you could try making sure the lenses are clear, not shooting in super dark areas and holding the phone still when you take the picture

If money is an issue, buy a used flagship. People generally take good care of these phones so there will be many good ones for sale. Will be worth it for the memories 😊

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

As suggested by others, the A13 simply doesn't have the greatest camera. There are a few ways to take better shots, but it can only be taken so far.

To be sure, have you set the camera to 50 megapixels? Doing this should increase quality.

Look here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-a-series/samsung-a13-select-best-camera-for-photographs/td-p/6317208?src=ShareByUserCM
