Hi, can anyone help me, my phone has stopped receiving texts, any ideas anyone

May I ask what's the model of your phone? Can you still make phone calls or send messages or you no longer can send and receive messages?

Are you using Google messages or samsung?

Also is it from everyone or just specific people?

Same with me here. Samsung has informed me that I need a master reset. Can send texts using Samsung messages but can't receive any. Started when I refused to upgrade to Google messages. My provider even gave me a new sim card. Have tried everything.

Have you tried different network sim cards and see if it works ? Also you could ask your network provider for new sim card and see if that's the case, also could do network reset in settings.

Reset mobile network settings

Reboot your device.

Does that fix it?

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your text messaging.

Are you able to try another text message option as a process of elimination 🤔

Try clearing the cache of the app by holding down the app icon, and tap on i , and then tap on Storage and Clear Cache which may help.

Also as a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone to see if texts are received then.

Also, if you are using Google Messages, try using Samsung Messages as your default or vice versa to rule that in / out as the issue.
