    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;a href="https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/54932647"&gt;@lisa17071977&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":waving_hand:"&gt;👋&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Accidental damage isn't covered under the Samsung Limited Manufacturer's Warranty so a fee would be charged.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However the issue may not just be the smashed screen, as the impact may have caused issues inside the phone too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Use this link to set up a Repair&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/" target="_self"&gt;https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and then once the phone has been assessed they will provide a costing which you can accept or not.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A Samsung Experience Store can assist too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Samsung provide a doorstep repair service in some regions too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some House Contents Insurance covers phone's,&amp;nbsp; as well as some Bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account.
