Help required. I have just purchased the A05s as a backup phone whilst my Fold 4 is in for repair. I have 2 questions, my phone does NOT have NFC or WIRELESS CHARGING, yet the specs from numerous sites including Samsung say it does.

Why is this so?

It also says its REGULATORY INFORMATION is from SAUDI ARABIA.

Does this mean ifs not a genuine UK sold Samsung phone?

I don't understand this.

Please advise.

Sounds like the phone you have was made for the Saudi Arabia region.

Works fine here, but just not doing what the spec says..
My wife's flip 5 doesn't show the REGULATORY INFORMATION tab, but so just wondering

@Pipster61 NFC is region dependent , the uk version does have NFC but unfortunately seems not your version. where did you purchase?

definitely dodgy, no offence but i wouldn't trust a "phone shop". always purchase from a trusted retailer Eg argos, amazon etc.
No A series devices support wireless charging, (as far as my knowledge expands).
NFC is region locked as mentioned, so it's likely your device is not UK based.
Would you mind sharing your model name found in about phone in settings?

Yea looks like your device was purchased from Qatar, So that's why it won't work.

The shop most likely didn't check if the device was bought in the UK. If they don't have a policy for returns/refunds, then there's nothing that can be done. I highly recommend amazon or argos if you need it quickly for a cheap phone, and just keep it after incase you need it in future.

Need to be careful with Amazon third party sellers too, some have been caught out.

yea, just make sure to buy from a trusted seller, and that they have good reviews etc.
