Samsung a05s, why make a phone with nfc yet you cant use samsung pay. Been with samsung phones for years, wasnt told this when i got the phone now stuck with 2 year contract and cant use samsung pay. What genius done this ?!!! Not happy with samsung anymore. Watch usleless cause i cant even install google wallet on it. At least that would have been an option....if i could!

The A05S does support Samsung Pay.

Where did you get your device from and which country are you in?

Seems NFC on the A05 is region/market dependent - if you don't have this, then you cannot use mobile payments

Yep it has nfc and works with google pay, but the phone cannot use samsung pay, thats the problem.

@Members_jvzRFJO Please drop me a DM, and provide me with your full Model and Serial Number as this will enable me to see where your phone was manufactured, as this could be the issue here.

Ty for the answer, just weird how google pay will work, but samsung cant seem to sort for samsung pay.

@Members_jvzRFJO As stated, Samsung Pay is not available in all countries, and this is down to the country it was manufactured in to make this available. Samsung Pay is available for UK devices.

Not according to samsung website, which list what phones can use samsung pay, and a05s is not listed, only found out after i got phone.so not all samsung phones

Basically from what i have read, can samsung not do csc change update to sort this?

We cannot change this as this is programmed into the phone when it is manufactured in that country. You will need to speak to the retailer you purchased this from to sort this out. We cannot add Samsung Pay to a phone that is not manufactured to support it.

I have a Samsung a05s and it doesn't do nfc, when I bought it the description said nfc compatible and so does the booklet with the phone, when looking in the settings it's not there, I went back to the site I bought it from and the seller had changed the description and had removed the nfc part after my purchase.

Can I use samsung wallet on my a05s
