switched on phone this morning to find all my reminders are gone

Hi, and welcome to the UK community.

If Samsung Reminder app, then check its recycle bin and check if synced to the cloud.

it is the samsung app, its not synced, as a rule i dont put anything on the cloud...

cant find a recycle bin....the phone is a s9...time for an upgrade maybe

would still like to know why its happened though

If you can't see the recycle bin, then toggle it on. Unsure why it's happened but I would recommend syncing to Samsung cloud, if only to prevent issues like this.

dont have an recycle bin option

i'll pass on the cloud, will find some other way to backup.......thanks for your help Robin, appreciated

just out of curiosity what version of reminder are you running?

its a S9...yes UK based

i'll do some digging in the os logs to see if i can find out the cause

just got a message from samsung support (i think)....anyway not concentrating i just browsed it and left it, thinking to go back a bit later and try out the various solutions they set out.......now i cant find the message....how do i get them to post that message on here?
