SIM Card Manager not showing on S20 5G

I just bought a S20 5G and I want to use the eSIM capability. To enable the eSIM one should normally go to the SIM card manager. The problem is that the SIM Card Manager menu does not show up. The only fix I found on the forum was to update the OS to OneUI 5.1 but the phone uses this version already. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just checking, to access SIM Manager you are going to:

Settings
Connections
SIM Manager

Correct, except that there is no "SIM Manager" under Connections. That's the issue.

You might need to speak with your network provider if you intend to enable a eSim if your already using the normal sim in your device, your phone probably won't receive any further software updates as it's a old model to.

Excellent point.

In addition, if the OP puts a physical sim in the device, he / she should still see SIM Manager.

@Members_OFhEkA4 can you check that please.

Not all phones are made equally, you may not have a dial sim phone

Usually if sim manager doesn't appear it's because it's not a dual sim phone

I have an unlocked galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. I have had several providers over the three years so I know it is unlocked. It is a dual sim/SD phone and I've had a mini SD card working in it. I am travelling and want an eSIM for roaming and cannot install it as there is no SIM Card Manager.

I am having the same issue just got my s20 5g ultra and no SIM Manager option. Yet I see the eSIM greyed out and not enabled. It was said to have hybrid nano SIM and MicroSD but inserting another a second SIM does not work, and eSIM option missing.

All I hear it's old model. Just got this phone barely a week ago.

I've been searching everywhere for a solution but gotten none so far. It's samsung's fault. I don't think it was like that on android 10. It's their updates that is causing the problem. I also think that it's intentional to force us to get their latest phone. I want two sims and a memory card. But because of this I'm unable to. Is there any way to contact Samsung for them to fix it in a new update or something.

Have you tried searching in settings with search button? I have S22 and it also does not appear for me in settings, but if i search for it via search button it shows up.

I am particularly not pleased with the fact S20 Ultra will not have the Android 14 update. What exactly is the issue? Because I do not think there is any hardware compatibility issue; only marketing strategy.
