Adding contacts to a group

Hi. I have set up a group and added 15 contacts but there are 7 other contacts that I cannot add. Does anyone know why that may be?

@jones70: Please can you confirm the model number and current Android version of your device, located in Settings > About Phone? Can you clarify why you're unable to select the contacts i.e. are they greyed out? Do the affected contacts contain phone numbers, and are they stored in the same location as the 15 contacts you were able to add successfully? For instance, are some contacts saved to a Google or Samsung account, while others are stored on your SIM card?

And select edit
To add more to
Your group

Hello, I have a problem with entering Contacts into a Group on my J6, but I can't see how to raise a new Question, so hope you don't mind me adding it to this thread.

I have set up the Group OK, but when I add Contacts into the Group and tap Save, they disappear. What am I doing wrong?

I have a Samsung a52 and I can't add a contact to a group. The person appears on my contact list. However, when I press add contacts to group and scroll through my contact list, they don't appear. Why?
