Text messages/Message app keeps crashing

Hi, I'm having an issue with my text messages, it won't let me reply to anyone, I've tried numerous times to send a text and it keeps throwing me out, I've switched the phone off and back on, but nothing has changed, I need the texts for work, I'm using WhatsApp to reply ro people, and not a lot of people use WhatsApp alot, any ideas on how to fix it?, thanks.

I am having the same issue it keeps kicking me out and saying it keeps stopping.

There are now 2 messaging services on your phone Samsung messages and Google messages - they both receive them
You have to select the other as primary if the one you open doesn't allow you to send

Whatever messaging app is on your main screen is the wrong one if you can't send messages simply swipe your screen up revealing all your apps and look for both the Google and Samsung messaging app and send the opposite one to your desktop and delete the other (the app symbols are very similar)

Disabling "Meet" in Apps fixed the problem for me.

Hi my text messages keep crashing. I cant read or send as it keeps going off . Ive restarted phone but still the same. Also cleared cashe . Any ideas please

Same thing happening all day to me. Restarted phone, removed and reinserted sim but still happening. Anyone any ideas??

Just seen on another post. You need to disable Google meet in your apps. I've just done it and it worked 👍👍

Same here soon as I go into phone book on phone and select message it just goes back to phone book again

I think most app will crash today but should be Samsung problem not our problem Samsung has apps own by Samsung we should not get app to crash but also Google apps fault has well because Samsung app Google app doesn't mix well
