I want to update my phone, but I can't find which of the new Samsung has an SD card slot. I ordered two different models, but both had to be returned to the seller. This is an important question for me, I do not want to change the brand, but I will have to do it if Samsung did a big stupid thing by removing this feature from their phones.

You can try A series and M series. They are the ones that feature card slots.

A long time ago, I decided that I would never buy an Apple, because they want to take away my freedom of action!

Probably now it's time for Samsung to say goodbye - I don't want to feel like a slave.

A sense of freedom of action is much more important to me!

You certainly won't get freedom and an SD card with Apple.
To be honest it's with most manufacturers that they are dropping the SD card. The rest probably will do in the next couple of years.
I guess very few will still use them now.
I still find it inconvenient at times not having that functionality.
But that's the way it's going and there are not enough consumers to complain about it now

Yes, from my research SD card slot was dropped by most phones few years ago, actually Samsung it's almost the only company that still keeps this feature on some phones.

Apple dropped card slots even before Samsung and for America they dropped physical sim cards too.
I actually appreciate Samsung for keeping some physical features that Apple forgot about.

I agree with you; I just noticed the new Samsung phone costs about twice my monthly mortgage and yet has no slot for a card, forcing you, in a sense, to pay for monthly virtual storage. I have been a fan of Samsung for so many years, and now I am considering returning to another type of phone where I can access my information without relying on the internet. Also, if your phone breaks down and you do not back up your information, you may say goodbye to your data; this is nonsense. I remember when such a thing happened, you could still find your data since you saved everything on the card; this forces us to pay for more services, like online storage. Life is becoming so expensive, so why should I pay $2,259.99 for a phone where if it breaks down, I might lose all my information? No, wait, this is fantastic... with instant savings of $240.00, you can get the Galaxy Z-fold for $2,019.99! Outrageous...

I agree completely. I've purchased four Samsung phones in the past and one Samsung watch. I've needed to upgrade to new phone for two years and have skipped every option offered by Samsung because I'm waiting for them to stop being stupid. I use my phone for gaming and work, and have over a terrabyte on it. Spoiler, your cloud services aren't fast enough for me *even if I wanted to throw away money on it*. I literally have a better experience on my five year old phone with adequate storage space than I would on a brand new phone that barely has enough space for me to do one thing, then delete all my files, then download new files to do another thing, and then delete that as well. No thanks. Fix this or Im switching to a company that does. There are plenty of 2024 phones out there that do include SD cards. You're just corrupt and want to charge me for cloud services that aren't capable of doing what I need.

I'll say that again. Cloud services, back ups, or anything that includes the words "back up" in them doesn't give me what I need. If I can't access hundreds of gigs in real time natively, I can't use your product. You just lose a customer. No excuses, no debates.

You don't get to make a worse product and act like it's a feature. It's just you being cheap and greedy and corrupt.

For what it's worth, in my circles we take bets on which cloud companies will go bankrupt and when. Right now we're betting on Amazons cloud services going down. Alexa staff got mass layoffs this year because it's bleeding money, and Luna is doing as badly as Stadia did. Cloud services aren't actually profitable, and so far everyone who invested in them just loses money. But hey, everyone thinks they'll be the first to ride a horse without being thrown off. So, good luck with that. But hey, I'm sure you'll figure out how to make cloud profitable before Google and Amazon, won't you? And all without losing too many of your own customers in the process, right? Right....

For me, an SD card slot is the single MOST important reason to choose a Samsung phone or tablet. I along with everyone I know, amass lots of data and the ideal method of securing this datasuchzs photographs, videos, music and work related files has always been the SD card. Removing this facility will destroy my and my friends brand alegance to Samsung and force us to change to another brand that DOES offer the great convenience of the SD card slot.

Unfortunately I said goodbye to Samsung. I am from many many years with Samsung, more then 14th years. They hired just Facebook and Instagram users on management. It is a competition between companies to have just ***** in management and not any interest in what customer wants. Now they remove SD card from A56 and A57 and keep just in the lowest value phone. just to understand if I want to buy an Apple I will not buy an imitation. And Apple users are the same like Samsung management from above description. Or maybe Samsung hired people from the apple team. DISMISSED, THEY ARE JUST *****.

You don't really want customer or you just want that type of customers who spend all day only on Facebook and Instagram.

Sorry Samsung but let me know if you come to your senses and bridge your SD card again. There are also customers who keep important documents on smart devices, that's why they are called that and they don't just stay on Facebook and Instagram, and in case of mechanical damage they want to be able to save or access those documents without depending on that device. But your management doesn't think like that, in reality they don't think at all.
