Depends on your apps and usage. Google have improved Android considerably which has helped performance. Running device care and making sure all your apps are updated helps. I just feel Samsung are hit and miss with their updates.

Same as any other phone, flagship or otherwise. My Moto G4 lasted almost 6 years but packed up in January. It was still fast enough to use until it overheated and died.

Oukitel £62.99 purchase price 4 years ,battery died .
I don't think this will last 3 years
