@fee71: As the Galaxy S7 Edge is a closed unit, you won't be able to replace the battery yourself. What I'd recommend is reaching out to one of our Support Centres or Experience Store to arrange an appointment, and an engineer will be able to do this for you. Andrew L's post is very wise although the battery replacement pack is cheap ( about £20) on amazon and the you tube video makes it look easy there are so many cases on line with people messing their phone up completely

It is my 73yr old father's phone and he doesn't like change 🤣. Would it be cheaper then to buy a new one instead of having to buy a new whole unit?? 😊

Could try and see what sort of price you get quoted from a high street phone fixer or you can pick up a do what they need to do phones now for not far off £100

Not necessarily cheaper but it would be quicker. The only issue is unless you can get another working S7 Edge off eBay or similar site any new phone you buy now will work slightly differently due to Android 11 or12 being quite a lot different to previous builds.

Fee - This company do battery replacements. We use them for repairs on handsets and getting data extraction tools and modules.
