My alarm used to go off when its muted at night, but for some strange reason it wont anymore, can anyone help with this please

how strange! Have you made any changes on your phone recently, for example upgrading the software or downloading any new apps? What phone model are you using?

May I assume that you have checked the do not disturb function and ensured that alarms are set as an exception. Perhaps they got altered by mistake or during an update?

@lolly52: Further to the advice offered by @TonyVincent please can you also head to the Clock app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Vibrate for alarms and timers, and toggle this on. While this won't enable an alarm sound, it will still notify you via your chosen vibration pattern when an alarm sounds and the phone is set to Mute or Vibrate.
