I'm wondering if battery swelling has caused this. If so, it is potentially very dangerous. Get the phone examined professionally as a matter of urgency.

battery bulge is the most likely cause, you should get it repaired by Samsung or their approved agents before using it again. Certainly avoid charging it because the battery cells could explode completely.

This is my Samsung S4 Flip that I saved up for. Out of the blue last week the back plate upper popped off on one side, splitting my official samplsung case a little with the pressure. I tried to put a little pressure to see if it would go back on but it won't budge. It's directly above the battery which seems swollen. All dust etc is now getting in and I can't use it safely. I went through looking at repair route but said it would be chargeable? Why? I didn't make a battery swell? I would like to talk to a human or message with a hum, neither of which is easy going through the support pages. Can you please help, I cannot afford to fix, neither to I feel a swollen batter I'd something I could have caused with normal phone usage.
