Can't make a call.

When I try to make a call on my galaxy A40 I keep getting a message saying

End call before you make a new one..

HELP

@EJ77: Have you recently made a call prior to seeing the message? If you open the Phone app and select Keypad, can you see a red phone symbol to end a call? Similarly, if you swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom, is a call active in the Notification panel? If the issue persists then try restarting the phone to see if this helps, or head to Settings > Apps > Phone > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data.
