    <description>You have heard from someone that can do it. I have no problems with smart things to my Samsung TV. I choose to use a cable for a better response as I play games. It's not going backwards. It's logical that anything plugged direct is more responsive. Smart Things is done over WiFi. An Ethernet cable is better than WiFi so I don't understand how you think uts going back in technology.</description>

      <title>Cast / Mirror full screen UE50TU8500</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When using smart view to my UE32J5500. I could cast photos/videos from Samsung A5 in full screen.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I now have 2 new TV's one of which UE50TU8500, when I cast to this I get a split screen of tv &amp;amp; photos.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;smartview is now obsolete, I have Smart Things, I have tried other apps.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What are other people using &amp;amp; how are they doing it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Must be some kind of issue with your TV. What happens when you put your phone into landscape mode? I personally use a Type C to HDMI adapter for mirroring. No lag then.</description>

      <description>makes no difference landscape/portrait. I dont want to be using a cable. I buy a new TV &amp;amp; go backwards with the tech. I think its the Samsung app, tgats why I want to hear from those hat can/cant do it.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yippee, sorted, You use the TV remote to select TV image or phone.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Select phone it is then full image.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They call this multview.&lt;/P&gt;
