Phone not unlocking even though I have correct pattern

Hi, I cant seem to be able to unlock my phone even though I am drawing the correct pattern and I dont have the fingerprint option activated. I cant even switch my phone off or restart it as it is asking me to draw the pattern.

I am sure its correct as it has been the same one for over 3 years. I have the Samsung galaxy S8.

How can I resolve this issue ? Do I need to go in store?

As a very last resort Try logging into your Samsung Account on a laptop etc and reset the phone that way via find my mobile.
