Samsung phones do have very good access the phone types of security and auto scans to check apps and built in virus scanners or downloading options if one so wishes.

Android is pretty solid overall even "older" device which do not receive anymore security patches are not o be considered less safe than newer ones, and fro mmy personal pov the galaxy phones are the best among their android collegues in terms of security thanks also to the work put in place by samsung with the different isolation features for sensible data like the kno secured private area and so on
