Wrong number is showing on Android to Android only

My husband ported his # 2 days ago and got a Galaxy S10. For everyone other than me his correct # shows on phone and texts. But on mine it shows the temp #. I have a Galaxy S8. We've deleted off both phones, reset network, no changes.

@AFoster: Did your husband move across from iPhone to the S10? If so, please ask him to disable his iMessage and FaceTime accounts, as this has been known to cause some issues when switching to Android. I'd also recommend that he reaches out to his network provider, to enquire about any issues at their end that may be a contributing factor.

I have the same. Recently ported my number from an S6 to S20 (plusnet to EE). All my contacts seem to receive texts from me ok except my Dad who gets them from my temp number that came with the EE SIM. I have a theory that its because he text me shortly after the number ported and the wires gave got crossed somewhere.

Is there any way of rectifying this?
