Has anyone in the UK gotten the April Software Update on their S21 Ultra? It has the camera update but I haven't gotten it so far?

It's from the US. I've been reading that the April update brings a camera update to the portrait mode?

If you purchased it from the US and using it in the UK, you will never get any of these updates.

I'm in the UK on O2 and I haven't received this update yet, I have spoken to O2 and they just point me towards Samsung even though Samsung have rolled it out 🤷

Is there a way to bypass O2 and somehow update through Samsung?

Maybe it's different with the Snapdragon variants then. I know that with the Exynos you won't get updates if used in a country different from the country it was sold in.

The update may not even be available for the Snapdragon variant just yet. Have you checked? Samsung are quick to release Exynos updates but slower with Snapdragon.

I've got it last week. Uk version from samsung. Only improvement I've noticed is portrait mode on rear camera. Except that april security patch.

Yeah direct purchases from Samsung all seem to have it and EE network have released but that's it

Smart Switch for PC may help the OP.
@Hallinandez you need a different csc to get the update. This involves changing the csc 02U to BTU. Sankey can do this. It costs a little. I changed mine from EVR (EE) to BTU in less than a minute.

Just be aware that changing the CSC will void your warranty. Even if you change it back, Samsung will know it's running an unauthorized firmware version.

The update came out in the UK on 29 March, I installed it since then. There is a change to portrait mode which now uses the 3x telephoto lens. I've also noticed much better night video 4k 60fps. It seems to me like the camera is better in more lighting conditions as well compared to previous firmware.

I'm with Three, but the device is direct from Samsung so it's not carrier branded.

I got it long back as well, Mine is also direct from Samsung and using giffgaff (which runs on O2)
As mentioned the only noticeably difference so far is extra lens option of 3x in portrait mode nad probably they fixed the difference in white balance when switching between different cameras.
I guess most of the fixes are internal.
I also found the photos to be a bit more sharper.

Are you able to post a screenshot of your current, "Service provider software version", as follows...

Settings > About phone > Software information > Service provider software version (See screenshot)

Is yours the Exynos or Snapdragon? The update was specifically for the Exynos version. Snapdragon versions have their own set of updates.
