Note 10 plus HDMI out not working after One Ui 3.0 update

Hey All,

I have been using a USB-c to HDMI adapter with my Note for a year now with absolutely no problems.

However, after the recent Ui 3.0 update, I have tried to connect to my TV and the phone isn't recognising the HDMI input. I have checked all the settings, and they are all the same as before, same adapter, cable etc.

Basically, Wednesday on One Ui 2.5 it worked and Thursday on One Ui 3.0, it now doesnt. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions please?

Are you trying to use Samsung deX?

If you are, there is now a wireless deX function which was released with One UI 2.5 which means you don't need to plug anything in.

I use DEX on my laptop from time to time, this was for screen mirroring as direct HDMI seems to be more stable than screen share, especially when playing games on a larger screen.

hello

give your USB port a fresh clean data

Settings → Apps → 3 dots → Show system apps → USBSettings app → Storage → clear data

restart the phone

then retry

Sorted now, changed the hdmi adapter and all is well again.
