Are recent Samsung phone compatible with Apple Mac? My iPhone 6S is knackered and I want to replace it. Trouble is my recently acquired desktop and laptop are both Apple. Five years ago I bought a basic Samsung phone for my wife but it was a waste of money because it would not properly connect with her MacBook Air laptop. You couldn't back up the phone nor transfer music ... and many other incomptibility issues, so we had to give the phone away and buy her an Apple. I don't want to make that mistake again.

Backing up and music are less of a hassle than they were because of cloud backups and Apple Music being available on Android but if you're looking for a phone to go with a Mac and iPad then in my opinion an iPhone is the best choice.
