Settings for apps

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to turn on the setting to show you on the notification bar when something is downloading or updating, and same with when you're downloading an app and it automatically gets put onto the home screen?

I forgot where the settings for this is.

Hi @Nitesh95

To add app icons straight to your Homescreen when downloading from the Playstore ~

Long press on a blank part of your homescreen.

Choose Home Screen Settings.

Toggle On the Add Apps to Homescreen.

Notifications options ~

Choose Settings , Notifications, Status Bar , i choose all notifications.

if you look at the gif I attached (extracted from a forum), you see the Google Play Store and that its downloading something, thats what I cannot see on my notification bar.

but I've read on Google that apparently its no longer showing, so others are having the same issue.

When I'm updating via the Playstore nothing shows in the status bar but when I pull down the notification shade it then shows which has been the case for quite a while.
