I intend to copy data from my S4 mobile. I am actually a iPhone but supporting my mom.

I believe I dont need sim cards in both samsung phones in order to use smart switch?

not sure that iPhone (apple) is compatible with the s4 (Samsung) you might have to copy/transfer manually

The S4 is too old for Smart Switch. Kies works but not on newer phones.

It says here in Swedish: newer than Galaxy S2.

Hmm It never worked for me before but I just tried Smart Switch on my S4 and it certainly recognises it 😅

Great so in the box there should be a USB to usb-c adapter. The best way to try and to it is with a cable as WiFi transfer is slow and can disconnect meaning have to do it all over again. Make sure both phones have the same version of the smart switch app and it should work.
