SAMSUNG Note 9 mutes the whatsapp call if the screen goes off

Hi,

Peculiar problem! When on a hands-off call on the phone in speaker mode or when connected via blue tooth to the car, the phone automatically goes on mute. The other party can't hear me until I wake the phone by pressing the side buttons.

It is extremely frustrating, because I have to now keep a finger on the screen all the while or else keep tapping the screen periodically.

Help, anyone?

Hi Im having the same issue and calls drop out as if im put on hold intermittently. Cannot find a fix, frustrating!
