Add a ssd card slot back to note series phones

I just wanted Samsung manufacturers to rethink about the microsd card slot, that was on prior phones, and think about adding a Microsd card slot back into the note series phones.. so that we can expand the memory space… it will be cool to have the Sd card slot back into new phones, I understand the new S26 are coming, and thought that Samsung can possibly bring back the sd card slot , I really miss those times when we can insert a sd card into our phones and expand the memory space… just wishing for a Sd card slot comeback possibly on the new s26 … or if not on smartphones, maybe for the latest tablet… thought this will be a good suggestion.

Note name has gone now, same as the SD card slot.
Can't ever see that returning to phones again now.
Been too many generations of phones ago to consider it

The Note 20 was the last device in the Note series from 2020 or so.

Micro SD cards are being replaced with cloud storage.

Not sure why you think there would be a change to these policies for a device that no longer exists?

Maybe you mean the modern Ultras which basically replaced the Note Series,virtually no chance of the SD Card returning to flagships though. There are now larger internal storage options available and Cloud storage is being promoted. Whilst some value SD cards they are not the fastest technology and can be prone to errors.

SD cards are to slow nowadays and also unreliable. It's not worth risking storing stuff you want to keep on one.

Who cares that there isn't any more "Note" series phone.

The lack of a sdcard slot in modern phones is a real problem.

It's not old tech. It's tech company greed. You've been brainwashed.

I refuse to upgrade or buy Samsung for my next phone because of this.

Same here. I have an S23 that I bought without realizing that there was no SDcard slot. The 128GB of storage filled up quickly.

I think that it is inexcusable for a company's flagship line to offer so little storage room (I'm aware that it also came in a 256GB, that should've been the minimum offered, but it still wouldn't be enough for me) with no option to expand storage via sd card.

I was thinking about replacing it with the S25, but it has the same issue. I might just bite the bullet and fork out the cash for the Sony Xperia 1 VI or VII. It comes with an sdcard slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack (which still comes in handy) and boasts the best cameras of any phone.
