Now phone wont work looking in settings update has deleted the imei number from my phone . Shocking i need need my phone is there any way to fix this or do samsung owe me a phone

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your phone. 😔

I've never come across as to where a software update has deleted the imei number 🤔

Try removing the sim card and reinsert it.

Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

And if necessary back up and factory reset.

If necessary a Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

I suspect that the IMEI number has moved in line with Google's changes.

Go to settings, about phone and your IMEI number should be there.

When you go to settings > about phone does it display imei as unknown or it's blank completely?

Do you have no service symbol on your signal bar?

Is there any chance you flashed or "modified" your device by any chance ?

If you open phones dialer type *#06# does it display imei?
